Humanistic approach

Person-centered psychotherapy, based on the idea that everyone possesses within themselves the resources needed to overcome their difficulties.

Why Humanistic Therapy Is at the Heart of My Practice

In my practice, humanistic therapy forms the foundation of the support I offer. This approach is rooted in a deep conviction: every individual possesses within themselves the resources needed to grow, heal, and thrive. My role is not to “fix” you, but to accompany you as you rediscover your own capacity for transformation.

Humanistic therapy places the therapeutic relationship at the heart of the process. It places great importance on empathetic listening, unconditional respect for who you are, and the authentic dialogue we build together. Within this safe and supportive environment, you can freely explore your emotions, thoughts, and past experiences without fear of judgment.

This approach follows in the tradition of the work of Carl Rogers, who demonstrated that profound therapeutic change can emerge from a relationship built on trust. This is the quality of the therapeutic relationship I am committed to offering to each of my patients.

What Humanistic Therapy Can Offer You

  • A free and non-directive space for expression: You define your own goals and move forward at your own pace.
  • Recognition of your uniqueness: No boxes, no reductive labels. You are seen and understood as a whole person.
  • Exploration of your inner resources: Beyond symptoms, we work to uncover your strengths and your capacity for resilience.
  • A holistic approach: Your body, emotions, thoughts, and relationships are considered as interconnected aspects of your experience.
